Booking Terms & Conditions

COVID-19 POLICY (September 2021)

If you are unable to attend a session due to displaying symptoms of COVID-19, or having had a positive COVID-19 test in the last 14 days, you must notify immediately by email. The aim will be to then reschedule your session within 30 days of the original date. No additional deposit payment will be required unless the session needs to be rebooked outside of that 30 day timeframe.

If another lockdown period is entered into, either nationally or locally, deposits already paid will be held and will be valid against a new date as soon as the lockdown period is over. Deposit invoices not yet paid will be cancelled and your session will also be cancelled. Please get in touch to book a new session after lockdown is over​

 
Payments

All bookings, whether made via the online booking system, email, text/iMessage/WhatsApp, Facebook, or directly in person require payment in FULL in order to be confirmed. When booking via the online booking system, payment can be made by Credit/Debit Card, PayPal, or in installments with Klarna. Bookings made by email, text/iMessage/WhatsApp, Facebook, or directly in person will also be required to pay in full by Credit/Debit Card, PayPal, or Klarna via a one-time link emailed/text/messaged to you. Only when this is paid in full will your session(s) and date(s) be confirmed. One-time payment links should be paid by the date specified when it is sent to you. If it is not paid by this date, your session(s) and date(s) will be cancelled.

Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule a booking, you will need to get in touch as soon as possible. See the below timeframes to understand if and when a new payment will be required;

If you wish to reschedule your session to another date in the same month of the original session, you may not be required to provide a new payment. This is discretionary and assessed on a case-by-case basis.

If you wish to reschedule your session to another date in a different month, you will need to request the new dates and pay again.

Cancellations

When cancelling a booking, you will need to get in touch as soon as possible. 

  • If you cancel your session more than 28 days prior to your session, you will be entitled to a FULL refund (less a 10% admin fee).

  • If you cancel within 28 days of your session, you are not entitled to any refund. Where applicable, you will not be liable for any further payments in addition to those already made. Where applicable, deposits already paid are non-refundable.

  • If you cancel within 14 days of your session, you are not entitled to any refund. Where applicable, you may be liable for up to 50% of any outstanding balance not yet paid. Where applicable, deposits already paid are non-refundable. Where applicable, deposits not yet paid, but that have been invoiced or requested, will be due for payment immediately.

  • If you cancel within 7 days of your session, you are not entitled to any refund. Where applicable, you may be liable for up to 100% of any outstanding balance not yet paid. Where applicable, deposits already paid are non-refundable. Where applicable, deposits not yet paid, but that have been invoiced or requested, will be due for payment immediately.

  • If you cancel within 48 hours of your session, you will not be entitled to any refund. Where applicable, you will be liable for 100% of any outstanding balance not yet paid. Where applicable, deposits already paid are non-refundable. Where applicable, deposits not yet paid, but that have been invoiced or requested, will be due for payment immediately.

In cases where it is deemed appropriate to request part or all of any outstanding balance, this will be requested via email invoice to the email address used to make the booking. This invoice should be paid by the due date stated to avoid further action. Fordhouse Studio reserves the right to pass unpaid invoices to the Small Claims Court. Failure to pay an instruction from the Small Claims Court could result in a CCJ being registered against you which could impact your future use of credit facilities with other financial service providers.
